Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 24, 2026
Kwiga is a math learning app for kids, managed by their parents or guardians. We collect as little personal information as we can, and we never sell it. This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
Parent account: your name, email address, and password (stored securely as a hash). We use your email to sign you in, verify your account, and send important service messages.
Sign in with Google: if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We use this information only to create your parent account and sign you in. We never access anything else in your Google account, and we never sell this information or share it with third parties except the service providers needed to run the app.
Child profiles: a first name or nickname, age or level, and learning progress (exercises played, scores, streaks). We recommend using a nickname. We never ask children for contact details, and child profiles have no email or password of their own.
Payments: when you buy a subscription or camp enrollment, the payment is processed by our payment provider (for example, mobile money). We store a record of the transaction (amount, status, reference), but we never see or store your full payment credentials.
How we use it
We use this information only to run Kwiga: signing you in, saving your child's progress, adapting exercises to their level, and processing payments you make.
We do not show ads, we do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers needed to run the app (hosting, email delivery, payment processing).
Children's privacy
Kwiga is designed for children, so accounts are always created and controlled by a parent or guardian. Children cannot make purchases, publish content, or communicate with other users through Kwiga.
Your choices
You can update or delete a child profile at any time from your parent dashboard. You can ask us to delete your entire account and its data by contacting us — the WhatsApp help line in the footer is the fastest way to reach us.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update this page and the date above, and notify parents by email when the change is significant.
